Hello Maria - Thank you for following up on replacing your microwave. The JX827SFSS is 27" wide from the outside edge of the trim. Both trim kits are used for the same size cutout. The distinguishing difference is the width of the sides of the trim. If this is installed above an oven, the trims are designed to match either 27 or 30 inch width ovens. - John@GEA
