“is this noisy when running? beeps: how many? are they irritating or loud? can you turn off beep?”

• it's relatively quiet. The beeps are not at all annoying and if you open the door after the beeping starts, it doesn't continue to run the cycle, which is 4 or 5 beeps. The quiet little reminder beep is not irritating at all. Don't know if you can turn off the beeps but I wouldn't want to.

• Hello Prutz - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we are happy to help you. This microwave does not have a mute option for the end of cooking signal. When the cooking is complete, the signal will sound a long beep followed by a short reminder beep every minute until the door is opened or the control pad is pressed.
