“The specifications say that this model does not come with a Removable Filter. How is the filter in this model cleaned? Does the unit have to be uninstalled to do this? Is disassembly of the unit required to clean the filter. What is the process?”

Hi Mac - We're happy to help! Recirculating Charcoal Filter JX81C is included. This is only required when the microwave is converted to recirculating (non-vent). The charcoal filter cannot be cleaned. It must be replaced. It is located behind the top grill. If the microwave is properly installed with 12"-13" deep cabinets, the microwave does not need to be uninstalled for replacement of filter.
