“Can a microwave (jvm3160rss) with no outside exhaust fan outlet to be used, can it be installed . Does it need any special set up . where does the exhaust go.”

Hi John - The microwave can be easily converted to recirculating (non-vent). Recirculating Charcoal Filter JX81L is included. Since the microwave will be converted to recirculating and not vented to the outside, the air will be recirculated through the disposable charcoal filter that helps remove smoke and odors. The vent is located on top, just above the door. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It can be installed with or without using an exhaust vent. When installing it using the non-vent method. At the top of the microwave u have to repostion the venting element to blow towards the front of the unit. Very simple .
