It has inside venting, but it is not set up like that from the factory. It is not hard to switch to inside venting and it has thorough directions to do so

This items comes with vent in the upward position so if you have vent hole and ceiling vent in your kitchen setup yes factory position is ready to go but if not the adjustment is really simple to change its position correctly hope this help
