I have tile on the back wall and the GE space maker 30 inchwhich I have for 20 years may need to be replaced It is bolted by 4 bolts through the top cupboard can this unit be bolted to above cupboard.without a mounting plate because the back is tile null

My handyman just installed this microwave by attaching to the above cabinets. That is how the previous microwave was installed.

Hi - All over-the-range microwaves must be mounted to both a top cabinet and a back wall.
