“i am replacing a sharp model [r-1460] carousel microwave that is vented through a 3 1/4 x 10" duct to the outside. will this microwave exhaust match up to my existing system? thanks”

Hi - The over-the-range microwave ovens are designed for adaptation to the following three types of ventilation: *Outside exhaust (horizontal), *Outside exhaust (vertical), *Recirculating (non-vented). Shipped from the factory to vent out the top (vertically), but can also be vented out the rear (horizontally) with 3 1/4" x 10" rectangular duct.
