Installation of this appliance requires basic mechanical and electrical skills. To avoid the risk of personal injury (back injury or other injuries due to excessive weight of the microwave) or property damage, you will need two people to install this microwave. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.we replaced our old spacemaker with model JVM3160DFWW, because the external dimensions were the same. It took about 60 minutes to remove the old and install the new. It would have taken less time but I did not buy the mounting hole template kit. Instead I measured the holes myself and was extra careful about drilling. (they are slightly different mounting hole locations). Wattage was the same as the old, which is less than full size models - a disadvantage, but the size is right for a lower hight space.
