“Why does the inside fill with smoke after about a minute of running?”

• Could be excess machine oil in the blower fan motor just burning off, if it doesn't smell like electrical or plastic it may just be temporary while its new. I'd watch it carefully though and make sure it doesn't continue to smoke or get worse over time. Maybe call GE or check if anyone on the internet has posted this problem. Good luck.
