QuestionRegarding the included template for mounting the top two screws for under the cabinet...... do you need to cut-out the outer lines of the template so that the back "arrows" lines align with the back of the wall?

- Answer Yes, the template should be trimmed down according to the cabinet it is being installed on. The template states: 1. Fit template to bottom of upper cabinet. If cabinet bottom has a frame around it, measure frame thickness and trim along edges A, B, C, and D as needed to make up for frame thickness. Trim lines for ½”, ¾” or 1” frame thickness are on template.

QuestionCould I use an electical outlet that is underneath the cabinet to the right of this GE micrawave? I know it wouldn't look the nicest, but I already have an outlet located there. I do not have an outlet in the cabinet above where the microwave will be.

QuestionI am replacing a GE Model JVM1540SM5SS over the stove microwave oven and would like the new model to exactly fit the current mounting bracket and opening. Will the GE Model JVM6175SKSS fit this mounting bracket and existing configuration?

QuestionI bought this microwave 2 years ago and I noticed the digital numbers are fading away. You can only see partial numbers and constant flashing in the background. What needs to be done with this considering it is only 2 years old. Thanks,

QuestionDoes this require you to reset the time and date if the power goes out? I have an older GE microwave that does a hard reset if the power goes out, requiring re-programming. I don't need a date function on my microwave... Did they fix this?

- Answer In the event of a power failure, the clock will need to be reset. Press Set Clock, enter the time and press Start. This model doesn't offer a date function. -Vikki@GEAppliances
