Can you turn off the beeping sound? null

Hi- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for viewing our Over-The-Range Microwaves! The beeps cannot be turned off on this model. Check out our GE® SERIES 1.7 CU. FT. OVER-THE-RANGE MICROWAVE OVEN JVM6172DFWW. This model features a Sound option. Press the Sound pad and choose 0-3 for mute to loud. Thanks for checking with us!

You mean completely turn off the sound? If so, no way to do it. If you are willing to open it up and take the speaker out, then you can, but I am sure that would have warranty issue
