“I have the GE model jvm1540sm2ss now that no longer operates (blows fuses like crazy!). Will the wall bracket and vent configuration (rear and side exterior wall) need to be changed for this particular model or can I use the same?”

• Hi kdallen220- We are sorry to hear of this unfortunate experience and certainly appreciate your loyalty! When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. You can use the same rear venting.
