Just had a new GE 1.6 Cu. Ft. replacement installed from our old GE 1.6 Cu. Ft. and the installers used the old bracket instead of the new one. Better fit they said. INstalled perfectly with the old previous GE bracket.

All our over-the-range microwaves are designed to fit into a 30" cabinet opening. This makes choosing a replacement a breeze. Please note however, that you will need to use the mounting kit that comes with the model. This is because the kit is made specifically for that model. Thank you for being part of the GE family!
