“I have a JVM1840BD, vented to the outside. Is this model compatible with what I have? Old one seems to be mounted from the top down thru the upper cabinet.”

Outside Exhaust (Vertical – Delivered from factory in vertical position). 2. Outside Exhaust (Horizontal). 3. Recirculating (Non-vented ductless). It can be vented to the outside as there is an installation option for this.
