Hi - Thanks for considering GE! Yes, Model # JVM3160DFBB has a two-speed, 300-CFM venting system to remove smoke, steam and odors. The over-the-range models are all designed for adaptation for the following three types of ventilation: 1. Outside Exhaust (Vertical – Delivered from factory in vertical position). 2. He completed my installation for internal ventilation and told me to put the other part away. I don't know if that answers your question, but that's all I know about the vent.
