Hi Eugene- The over-the-range microwave are equipped with a power cord. The cord comes out of the top of the unit on the right side (facing the front of the microwave). Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this has a standard 3 prong plug. I used this unit to replace a similar unit in my house and it is installed and working good. It did not need to be hard wired.
