“Instructions for installing charcoal filter says to remove 2 screws, then remove grill. Our microwave only has one screw. I am afraid to force the other side of grill off for fear of cracking it. Has anyone else had this problem? Help!”

The hinge side does come off pretty hard. I got mine off without breaking it but I was questioning whether or not it was going to break. It will come off though without breaking though. Just try not to yank on it. Try to pull it with a steady pressure until it comes off.
