Should be able to use on countertop but would not be visually appealing and would require a large space on the countertop.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't recommend using a hanging microwave on a countertop. The venting won't work properly, the power cord is in the wrong location, etc.

Over- the- range microwaves are not designed or approved to be installed on a counter or shelf. The underside is not flat and would not provide a stable surface. Additionally, there can be a heat issue, especially if the vent fan or surface lights were accidentally turned on. We currently do not offer a countertop microwave with a handle.
