You probably need a new microwave or the breaker in the house is bad. Call an electrician to check the breaker.

Our over-the-range microwaves require a 120 volt individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse. Over-the-range models should be on a dedicated circuit. If properly installed and the breaker trips off again after resetting the breaker or replacing the household fuse, unplug the microwave and contact service. Please schedule an appointment with GE Appliances Factory Service at GEAppliances.com - Keep in touch! Sue
