• Hello - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. This model came vented so the damper should have been included. The damper is necessary to protect the microwave from the outside elements. We do not recommend exhausting the microwave outside without the damper. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
