Hello. This will require a service call to properly diagnose what the internal electrical issue. You can call 1-800-432-2737. We do not actually diagnose an electrical issue. If the microwave trips the house fuse or breaker: Be certain the microwave is on its own dedicated circuit. Reset the breaker or replace the household fuse and try the microwave one more time. If the breaker trips off again, unplug the microwave and contact service. Hope this helps. Geoff@GEA

Please try again later.Only has a 1 year warranty, with Best Buy Geek added warranty they will repair for 5 years, exact same thing happened to me in the exact order yours did as well. My electrician replaced breaker in case it was weak. Just a note: the inside the kitchen GIF breaker did not trip and Chris my electrician said that was odd? I could not find any Micros with more than a 1 year warranty. The yearly geek squad protection is a nice value and have always been happy with every occasion working with them. Very happy with the replacement I purchased and I am Best Buy customer you wont find better service persons.
