This is what I did and I suggest that you do the same. I called GE customer service and gave them the model number of my existing microwave and asked them what microwave I can replace it. It should be the same measurements. The installation may not be same just like mine because you have to remove the old brackets . Believe me I did it all by myself.

Hello Smokey - When replacing an over the range microwave you will need to use the mounting hardware that comes with the new microwave. These holes may not line up with those of your older microwave. - Trey@GEA
