A:AnswerNot included with the microwave, but the instructions and materials do have these kits described and you can order or buy them. I reused the ones I had from my old microwave, they are not load bearing and don't actually do anything besides fill in the extra space. I took mine down and cleaned them while doing the install, then put them right back in.
A:AnswerI had a GE microwave that was about as old as yours. I also had the same problem -- what replaces it.
I simply googled "what is the replacement model for model number xxxxxxxxxxxxx and the one that came up was the one I bought.
I suggest thought that you do check the measurements of your current model against the measurements of the new model just to be sure as I did.

A:AnswerHello - we checked the installation instructions for this unit, and we can confirm that this microwave is not able to be installed inside (built-in style) a cabinet. A:AnswerThe GE microwave is louder then the one it replaced especially with the fan on. Fortunately, I have a down draft range and do not need to use the exhaust fan.
I doubt you can adjust the motor but I would call GE to find out.
A:AnswerThanks for checking with us! All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, yes, this would make a good replacement. When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. If you have any additional questions, please reach out. We are happy to help!- Kianna@GEA
A:AnswerHi - Thank you for your interest in a new GE Appliances over-the-range microwave. We have great news! This new model will fit in the same opening as your existing model microwave. All our best! Vikki@GEA
A:AnswerIt has inside venting, but it is not set up like that from the factory. It is not hard to switch to inside venting and it has thorough directions to do so

A:AnswerThank you for asking this great question! The 30” refers to the distance between the top of the microwave to the surface of the cooktop. In other words, there should be 30” between the bottom of your cabinet and the cooktop. For more information, please refer to page 8 of your microwave’s “Installation Instructions”. We hope this helps and if you need any additional assistance, please reach out to us! All the best – Matthew@GEA
A:AnswerMine does the same thing. The fan comes on immediately upon hitting start and the word “vent” appears in the display every single time you use the microwave to cook. I am not using the stove top so there is no heat rising from the stove. This vent seems to be separate from the high low vent fan which I am able to turn on and off by hitting the fan button. The “vent” comes on every time you cook and there’s no way to turn it off. My prior microwave (Exact same model) did not do this.
