A:AnswerWe had a Best Buy rep install our microwave. I am pretty sure the upper holes matched from our previous GE which we had for 17 years. However, the installer used the previous bolts as they were longer than the ones that came with the new microwave. Once again, I am sure Best Buy customer service can probably answer the question.

Round ducts should be a minimum of 6". When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model.
