A:AnswerHello BigAl - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we're happy to help you with regard to replacing your microwave. The good news is that all 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Each microwave comes with the mounting hardware (mounting bracket, screws, exhaust adapter), top and rear templates, and installation instructions needed to make installation a simple process. This makes choosing a replacement microwave easy. This JVM3160DFBB would be a great replacement. We hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

A:AnswerHI LilB- We recommend to clean the exterior of your microwave with mild, non-abrasive soaps or detergents applied with a sponge or soft cloth. You can use Cerama Bryte Appliance Cleaner, part number WX10X392 on the door ((both interior and exterior). Wipe the control panel with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not spray any solution directly onto the controls. See the following link MICROWAVE CLEANING RECOMMENDATIONS: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17377 - Cleaning recommendations are also provided in the Owner's Manual: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-40669-6.PDF - Keep in touch! A:AnswerI guess im not sure how to answer your question. Is it vented through your motor home wall? Then if so you should be fine. I had to pull the blower motor out and turn it around because I dont have a vent that leads to the outside of my house. Hope this helps.

A:AnswerHi Janice- Yes, all GE over-the-range microwave ovens are equipped with venting system and cooktop lighting. This model has a two-speed, 300-CFM venting system to remove smoke, steam and odors. They are all designed for adaptation to the following three types of ventilation: *Outside exhaust (horizontal), *Outside exhaust (vertical), *Recirculating (non-vented). Thanks for choosing GE! A:AnswerHi Steve- Thanks for choosing GE! You will not need the 2 screws for mounting the bracket to the wall. They are simply shipping screws and can be discarded. You will use toggle bolts and wood screws as indicated in the Installation Instructions: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-40675-3.PDF - Enjoy! A:AnswerHi- Thanks for choosing GE! It is not possible to determine the product failure rate, lifespan , life expectancy, or life cycle of an appliance, even an approximate age. There are many variables involved, like: frequency of use, type of use, location of appliance (ex. high humidity; near the ocean; etc.), care, and maintenance. The result of thorough research and rigorous testing, our microwaves are designed for years of dependable performance. Even the best appliances don't last forever. So how to know when to repair or go ahead and replace. See the following link- REPAIR VS. REPLACE: THAT'S THE BIG APPLIANCE QUESTION: http://www.geappliances.com/ge/lifestyles/repair-vs-replace-appliances.htm -
