“This model is 16 1/2 high. Our granite backsplash come up a little high so we have a space that is 16 1/4 to mount the back of the microwave. Will this microwave mount into a 16 1/4 space?”

Hi Lony - Thanks for viewing GE! This model is 16 5/16" at the rear so you may need to modify the backsplash a bit to accommodate the mounting bracket.
