• Hi, Good question! We thank you for choosing GE Appliances and we'd be happy to help with the reset filter button. This feature will typically light up to alert the owner that it's time to clean the grease filter or replace the charcoal filter. After replacing or cleaning the filter hold this button for 3 seconds.
