Hello. We appreciate you taking the time to contact us, though we truly hate to hear you’re unhappy with the fan noise. We do expect some noise as the microwave and fan operate, but we always want to provide as peaceful an experience for you as possible, and regret any inconvenience caused. Your concern will be sent to our team for future review. You can run the vent fan at a lower level if you wish; you would press the Vent Fan option once to boost the fan speed, twice for high speed, three times for medium speed, four times for low speed and five times to turn it off completely. (Please note that you may not always be able to turn the fan off immediately – if the internal parts aren’t cool it will keep running until they are.) You can also minimize automatic fan operation by using the correct size cookware and only using high heat on the surface units when necessary. We hope this information is helpful. If you have any other concerns or questions, we're happy to assist any time. Best wishes! -Sarah@GEA

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello there, It must be common because I noticed that immediately when I used it. I also noticed that the opening and closing of the door is so super tight that it makes so much noise. I suppose that will ease up in time. I hope this helps.
