Hi, Thanks for asking great questions! We're more than happy to help. When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model and is not interchangeable. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. We're very disappointed to hear your microwave isn't working and suggest resetting the electronics by disconnecting power at the circuit breaker for 30 seconds.
