QuestionI have one of these microwaves - over the range - and steam comes up through the top of it creating condensation on our cabinets above the microwave. Our cabinets are 15 inch cabinets. Why is it doing this and what can we do to stop it?

- Answer If you have a duct vent and you micro has convertible fan you can take micro out and reverse fan installion.

- Answer No, this oven does not come with a shelf. I don't believe that there can be a retro bought shelf as there are no hangers for a shelf inside of the oven.

- Answer As far as the filler kit I don't know. As per buying this NO! There is no background lighting of the keypad which you can't see it.

QuestionI want to replace my over the stove GE microwave, model JVM3670SK04, with another GE microwave. Since my opening is 36", are there standard spacers, or does each model of microwave require a difference set of spacers?

- Answer Unfortunately each model requires it’s own mounting bracket. The holes for mounting to the wall are different as are the tabs for connecting to the Microwave. It is really poor design by GE as there doesn’t seem to be any reason for the bracket to change from model to model - especially when the dimensions of the Microwave are identical! Also, the holes you have to drill in the bottom of your kitchen cabinet will likely be in a different location too - meaning you will need to drill new holes in the cabinet and probably use fender washers to compensate for the weakening of the wood. Again, bad engineering design. It is a good Microwave, that could be better if GE paid attention to ergonomics.

- Answer As long as you have a 30 inch opening it fits, you may need to drill new holes for bolts which I had to.
