Hi JT- A standard round transition adapter can be purchased from local building supply stores. The specifications are standard 3 1/4" x 10" rectangular to 6" round adapter. I installed it before I rasised the microwave into position, you want to duct tape the adapter to the vent opening,,, the back of the vent opening on top of the microwave sits very close to the wall.I actually used some plumbers caulking to seal it up real good. This microwave vent has a high setting that will blow you away so you want to have a seal tight fit. Hope this helps.
