“The bottom back of this model is open, exposing the components. Is there supposed to be a cover? Without the cover, will the fridge overheat and ruin the compressor? It would be like driving a car without a hood! What's up?”

Hi there - thank you so much for reaching out to us! You're correct, this model does not have a machine compartment cover on the lower part of the exterior back of the unit.
