Hello Noel - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we are happy to help you. We're sorry to hear that your refrigerator is no longer cooling properly after the power surges and are happy to help you. First, we recommend disconnecting power to the refrigerator again at the main power supply for a few minutes so as to reset the controls. Next, be certain that the doors are closing properly and the controls are set properly. It takes approximately 24 hours for a refrigerator to cool to proper temperature if it has been off so be certain you have given it enough time to cool to the proper temperature.
