There is no cover for the light bulb. And there should be no condensation around the freezer door.

I am happy to help. There is not a cover for the bulb. As far as the condensation, check the gaskets for any damage. Make sure the freezer is closing properly and not popping open. If this continues, I suggest contacting service at the link below:
