“I like the features this has to mute the alarm, the clock staying on, 1200 watts, sensor cooking. Th only problem is it is 19 inches in depth and the shelf I must use is 16 inches. Can you steer me to another that has these features?”

PEM31DFWW24" 1.1cu.ft.capa 800wt has only 16' depth. And it does most of your needs.

It features sensor cooking controls and the cooking wattage is 800. It does not have mute option. The front edge of the microwave (measured at door) should sit at least 3" or more back on the countertop or shelf to avoid accidental tipping. Microwaves need adequate air clearance on each side, the rear and the top to function properly. This allows good circulation for the intake and discharge air vents.
