Does this microwave have the option to turn off the turntable? My built-in Profile over stovetop does and I use this feature when dishes too large to turn. Unfortunately, because of shoulder issues I am going to have to go to a counter model. null

If you call GE customer service, they will tell you. They are so kind and quick. I have never tried to turn mine off but this model has a powerful turntable and can probably turn even with a turkey or large lasagna dish.

This microwave does not have the option to turn off the turntable. For this, we recommend model PEM31DFWW. This features a turntable button on the control panel and can be brought down to a more manageable level on the counter. We hope this helps. - John@GEAppliances
