“I was told by another retailer that this refrigerator has been discontinued. If so, why? If I buy the one at Best Buy, am I buying a lemon?”

No some fenders just drop certain models for another one or they drop that line of product completely ither the Appliance what you purchase rather it's a washer and dryer to a stove and refrigerator is ether going to work with no problem or you simply going to get a headache which is rare I hope this helps you out

An appliance may be discontinued for a variety of reasons. Changing technology, product appearance or feature updates, or new energy efficiency guidelines are some of the reasons a model may no longer be available.
