No ice maker. I called Best Buy about how to get the optional ice maker, and was told that an ice maker was included, the option being to have it attached or not. I was given misinformation, as there was no ice maker, when the fridge was delivered. There is no light in the freezer. The door can be switched, to open on either side. My fridge was delivered with a damaged door. I am not planning to make a purchase like this again from Best Buy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The price does not include the ice-maker, but we purchased the kit with the fridge for roughly $80. It's about a 3.5lb capacity ice-maker, no complaints! Was very simple to install. No light in the freezer, but yes you can reverse the hinges and handles to open to either side. Once it's balanced, both doors will gradually swing shut and seal on their own also. Hope that helps!
