It is rated to 0 degrees. My son has a garage refrigerator/freezer not rated that low and the freezer part does not freeze. There might be some workarounds...a fan, cover with an insulating blanket? Not sure.

Last January when I moved the house had no refrigerator and the garage was in the upper 20's/low 30's so I used the top of the metal cabinet to hold a few things and it did fine--cold is cold. My son (an engineer) has a garage rated refrigerator with freezer and under 40, the freezer part does not freeze, the refrigerator is cold, and it does not damage the box. I am thinking maybe you can take advantage of the low temps for brief periods to keep things frozen but not stress the freezer. You will likely get wither an audible alarm or flashing on the small screen as a signal it is not freezing.
