Did not read in product manual or anywhere else. Check it out with GE customer service, BestBuy customer serebice or GeekSquad

Although it is a counter depth refrigerator, you should have plenty of ice for a family of four. It is a bit smaller than my standard sized refrigerator, However, it does seem to make and replenish ice quickly. It would suffice for a smaller get together or party.
