Hi Shellybelly - Thanks for considering GE! Model # GTS22KSNRSS is "garage ready" which means it is tested to perform from 38°F to 110°F. It will operate fine in your garage as long as it remains within this temperature range. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
