Model GTS22KGNRWW is ready to be used in a garage, but you do not have to place it in a garage if you prefer not to. The refrigerator should be installed in an area where the temperature won’t go below 38°F and won’t go above 110°F. More information about the location requirements is available on page 10 of the manual; that can be viewed on the Best Buy product page for the model when you click the 'From the Manufacturer' section and scroll to the bottom. Regarding the LED lighting, that would need to be replaced by an authorized technician.
