“I just purchased the fridge and there is a low pulsing sound at night. It might be normal and it wouldn't be a problem but our bedroom is very close to the fridge and the fridge is not in a built-in enclosure. Can I turn the sound off somehow? thanks”

Hi John - The new high efficiency compressor may run faster and longer than your old refrigerator and you may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating. I had not noticed this high-pitched whine until my wife made me listen closely, but it only seems to happen when the fridge is running.
