Hi there - Thanks so much for showing interest in this wonderful refrigerator! We can certainly understand your concern with being able to reach the filter. The water filter is located in the upper right corner of the refrigerator. You can view the filter's location in the third photo on the product's page. We hope this helps. Best Wishes! -Mikayla@GEA
