Q: QuestionHow difficult is it to slide the entire refrigerator out? we have a wall to the left of our existing refrigerator (french door). However, due to the wall we are unable to open the door sufficiently in order to pull out the draws or change the filters.

• A:Answer Hi Sue - Thanks for viewing GE Model GNE25JSKSS! The refrigerator is equipped with rollers and leveling legs. To move the refrigerator you will need to turn the legs clockwise to raise the refrigerator. Pull the refrigerator straight out and return it to position by pushing it straight in. Moving the refrigerator in a side direction may result in damage to the floor covering or refrigerator. After moving back into place, lower the leveling legs until they touch the floor. • A:Answer Hi Kathy, Yes, there would need to be some space around the refrigerator in order for it to have proper air circulation. 1/8" up to 1" inch of clearance on each side. 1" on the top (this is above the case, not the hinge). 1" to 2" in the back. • A:Answer Hi Jim - The process for changing the filter varies by filter type (MWF/XWF). When replacing MWF, slowly turning it to the left. Do not pull down on the cartridge. A small amount of water may drip down.
