Hi Lenore - GE® Built-In Dishwasher GSD2100VWW does not have a removable filter. We suggest to use a dishwasher cleaner periodically such as finish® Dishwasher Cleaner (WX10X10209). Hygienically cleans hidden grease and lime scale from filters, spray-arms and pipes.
