The dishwasher will lock and start once you've selected the cycle and completely pushed the door closed. Please make sure you haven't inadvertently selected the Delay Start. Please review pages 5-6 in your manual. If you still have issues with no power, please make sure your breaker hasn't tripped and check to see if you may have a switch on your wall that powers the dishwasher.
