A:AnswerWe recommend making sure your water heater is set to at least 120 degrees if you have small children in your home. If the water takes a while to get hot at your kitchen sink, turn the hot water on first, before turning on your dishwasher. The hotter the water, the cleaner and drier the dishes will be. Using a rinse agent will help with drying and be sure not to block the detergent cup. Avoid placing large bowls in front left corner of the bottom rack. If you continue to have issues, please take advantage of your warranty and reach out to Bodewell at 1-833-426-3393. Joyce@GEAppliances

A:AnswerThis model has a concealed vent which is not visible on the door; the vent is concealed inside of the dishwasher door. This provides a clean appearance, seals in sound during the wash cycle, and protects against venting damage to countertops such as Corian or granite. Some water (standing water), usually one to two cups, remaining in the bottom of the dishwasher tub is normal. If dirty water is building up over time in the bottom of the unit and your installation does not have an air gap, make sure you have a high drain loop. The mounting brackets that are included with the unit have been tested and approved for proper installation. Please follow the Installation Instructions as they're written. -Don@GEAppliances
A:AnswerThe approximate overall water usage for a normal cycle ranges from 3.2 - 6.0 gallons. The dishwasher will adapt the water amount used within the cycle and from load to load, so the actual water consumption will vary. -Don@GEAppliances
