No, there are no special jets for the silverware bin. This model has the center rotating jet arms in the bottom and middle of the dishwasher. It also has special drinking glass/vase/baby bottle jets built into the middle rack. The top rack is a shallow utensil/pizza pan rack that receives spray from a small top spray nozzle (that doesn't spin) and from the bottle jets if left uncovered and the center rotating spray arms. We pre-rinse our dishes and run the dishwasher on a shorter cycle, but have been very pleased with its performance after two months of use. It is very quiet.
