“What is the coldest temp the freezer and frig can be set, and is there a "quick freeze/cool" feature? Also, is it true water filters cost $50 and if not changed every 6 months it will not allow water to be dispensed until new filter installed?”

The filters are not that expensive and the change frequency is based on use not days used. The default freezer temp is 0'F. I imagine it could easily hit -20. No quick-freeze feature but I'm not sure you need it.

There is a Turbo Cool mode, and information about this can be found on page 6 of the user manual here: https://files.bbystatic.com/wvsBQaaP7WQH8cGGVgMBDg%3D%3D/2a8d498f-c970-4982-a4a9-9106029b66fc.pdf. As for the water filter, it is model XWFE and can be found here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/refrigeration-water-filter-for-select-ge-refrigerators-white/6406504.p?skuId=6406504. It is recommended to be replaced every 6 months or sooner if water flow slows. However, you can use a bypass plug if you wish to not use a filter.
